Who Do You Want to Be?

On a scale of 1 to 10 (with 10 meaning you are so excited and passionate about your success that you can't sleep), how would you score right now? How important is it for you to reach your goals? How badly do you want to increase your income? How much do you want to improve your future? "Where no real or valuable production is occurring, one has to ask the question, does the executive really WANT the product he is demanding? Do you hate rich people?

 Are we becoming a country that hates rich people? Are we becoming a culture that frowns on the Financially Successful? 

Lets be honest about this.

This was the subject of a lot of discussion on my radio show today, The Cardone Zone and I wanted to share it with you because this may be something that is preventing you from achieving the success of your dreams.

You hear of a guy that was born into wealth and never had to work in his life ---- don’t you resent him a bit?
Our society has sayings that suggest resentment, envy, misunderstanding and disdain of successful people... "He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth," and "the meek shall inherit the earth," for example.

I hear people suggest that rich people are greedy, dishonest and the biggest stereotype, "Oh he may have money but he isn't happy." You are bombarded with this type of thinking every time you turn on the TV and hear Obama talk about how wealthy Americans need to pay their fair share or how the top 1% are somehow suppressing the rest of us.

Why do we do this as a society? And most importantly what is the effect on YOU because of these ideas or beliefs being projected onto YOU?

RIGHT OR LEFT IS NOT IMPORTANT, YOU ARE!

The Left or The Right?

While the population of our country further solidifies its position to the ‘right’ or ‘left’ and others frustrated with both and giving up hope, I suggest you put your attention on yourself and what you can do, rather than Left or Right and what neither of them can or will do. If you want to make your life better for yourself, your community and the planet quit waiting for the left or the right to do it when you could be doing it.

You can end any passionate ‘party-blame’ discussion by immediately interjecting, “neither party has a solution to problems today, change will not happen until each of us change.” The Left or the Right are NOT going to improve your personal condition – they have had 50 years to do so and it appears that things are only getting worse. The economy, employment, health care, crime, education, poverty and the likes all show signs of worsening. Both sides are caught up in rhetoric and pleasing their lobbyist friends, while you and I are left to provide for our families and make our companies work. This “left vs right” argument appears to be driven to keep your attention on right or wrong and who is to blame rather than what you can do to improve the conditions of your neighborhoods, your business, and your community.
